Julie Greene is America's Self-Defense and Safety Coach and the founder and author of the DEFY the Bad Guy book and seminars, which teach women powerful and practical self-defense strategies. Her passion for teaching and her search for effective ways for women to defend themselves have come together in this unique self-defense program.

Whether you're looking for an expert in home self defense, self defense in the parking lot, or just general self defense techniques, Julie is your resourse to give you the tools and strategies you need.

She has earned head instructor status and is a Third Degree Black Belt in the Korean martial art TaeKownDo and holds a Black Belt in Combat Hapkido. She is a certified R.A.D. (Rape, Agression Defense) Systems instructor, and is a licensed instructor the the International Police Defensive Tactics Institute. She has reached instructor level in the Combat Hapkido Ground Survival Program, so she can show you how to defend yourself if you end up on the ground. Her studies in the use of pressure points for self-defense have earned her instructor credentials in the Anatomical Targeting Strategies Program. She is a member of the Association for Women's Self-Defense Advancement.

Julie also holds a Bachelor's Degree and graduated Cum Laude from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.

When she's not practicing her strikes and kicks, she is a homeschool teacher to her son, Morgan, and together they travel around the world with her husband, George. Their two cats, Smoky and Shadow, stay at home.
